Each Precious Moment

Short solo work using object, dance and text.

This solo questions fundamental concepts of the stage: role, audience, form and time. In his pursuit of an honest performance, the performer starts off by embracing premade conventions, only to break them as the piece unfolds. Assisted by a rigid box constructed of stage platforms he attempts to overcome the need of showing and arrive to the pleasure of sharing. The audience becomes part of the process by virtue of their capacity of observing. The dance, the object and the words, all point towards the uniqueness of the moment and how it contains essence within it.
